LOHRI CELEBRATIONS @ SPS - BARUNA

Young Sunriser's spread the message of peace , happiness & sharing in the school campus by celebrating Lohri under the supervision of their teachers & management with a lot of exuberance and funfair. The mood on the campus was upbeat and the students were totally absorbed in the festive spirit of Lohri.

The folk dance Bhangra & Gidha performed by young Sunriser's added the festive spirit in everyone and very well depicted the significance of this festival. The students and teachers dressed in traditional Punjabi attire sang songs immersed in rich cultural folklore of Punjab. Groundnuts, Popcorns etc. were also distributed among the students. Our Chairman Shri Sarwan Rana lit the bonfire and blessed everyone & spent quality time with students & teachers.
Our Managing Director Shri Kulwant Rana & Principal Mrs. Hardeep Kaur also encouraged students to value our cultural heritage.
